Parents of children in reception and years 1 to 4 we have some exciting news to share with you!

Christi Bear is our reading bear and over the course of this year, he will visit your home in a special bag with a book chosen by your child and a reading journal. The bear will go to a new home each Friday for the weekend and will need to come back to school on the Monday. Your child might like to use the journal to:

- write about the chosen book they are reading

- draw or write adventures with the Christi Bear.

- send a tweet with the book and the bear and use the hashtag #christibear

We look forward to hearing all about Christi Bear’s adventures and the books your children will be reading with him.

Christi Bear will be visiting homes from Friday 8th October.
