  • If you have any concerns for the welfare of any children please contact Designated Safeguarding Leader (DSL): Mrs Julie Taylor who is supported by Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leader's (DDSL): Mrs Joanne Clifford and Mr David Logue
  • If, however, you cannot contact the DSL of DDSL's please let a member of staff know.

'Our first priority is your child's welfare and therefore there may be occassions when our concern about your child means that we have to consult other agencies even before we contact you. The procedures we follow have been laid down by the Birmingham Safeguarding Children Board. If you want to know more about this procedure, please speak to the head teacher, Mrs Taylor.'

As of the 1st of September 2012, an amendment to the School Information Requirements came into force. The two main changes to the requirements are:
a) Schools will no longer be obliged to publish a physical prospectus
b) Instead, there is a list of specific information which schools will be required to make available on their website.

Autumn Term 2017

Term Starts: Monday 4 September 2017 (closure for teacher day – staff to attend)

Tuesday 5th September 2017 - School open for children at 8:45

Half Term: Monday 23 October 2017 – Friday 27 October 2017

Term Ends: Friday 22 December 2017 at 3.15pm

Spring Term 2018

Term Starts: Monday 8 January 2018

Half Term: Monday 19 February 2018 – Friday 23 February 2018

Term Ends: Thursday 29 March 2018 at 3.15pm

Summer Term 2018

Term Starts: Monday 16 April 2018

School is closed for May Day bank holiday  Monday 7 May 2018

Half Term: Monday 28 May 2018 – Friday 1 June 2018

School is closed for a teacher day on Monday 4 June

Term Ends: Tuesday 24 July 2018 at 3.15pm

Please note that there will also be 3 more additional teacher days - you will be told about these as soon as governors have ratified them.
